The Adel Public Library will allow teenagers to come shoot foam bullets at each other.
Their “Teen Nerf Gun Battle,” will take place from 2 to 4pm for sixth through 12th graders in the library community room on Friday. Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says that this is one of their most popular programs.
“They come in. We provide Nerf guns, Nerf bullets and snacks. They get about two hours of time frame where we do different games, such as Catch the Flag, Zombie wars, and the kids just get to be kids. They run around in the library when it’s closed, they shoot nerf bullets at each other, they play games and have snacks. And it’s just a great time for the teens to actually go back and be children.”
This will be a registered event and people can sign up by visiting the Adel Public Library website below.
