In a recent football matchup, the ADM Tigers won the close game rivalry  against the Winterset Huskies. The game, held on September 1, 2023, at Winterset High School, saw ADM maintain control throughout the night.

The final score stood at ADM 49, Winterset 27, affirming ADM’s dominance on the field. Both teams displayed their determination and skill, but ADM’s performance ultimately secured their win.

Aiden Flora scored 4 touchdowns throughout the night. All were rushing. As well as Brevin Doll who scored 3 of his own. There were plenty of flags thrown on both sides of the ball, but that didn’t stop the ADM offense and defense from playing a competitive game.

Flora completed 12 out of 17 passes, threw for 261, one touchdown pass, rushed for 197 yards out of 17 attempts, and scored 4 rushing touchdowns throughout the night.

Doll scored 3 touchdowns. one touchdown was a catching touchdown, and the 2 others were rushing which were added onto his 167 yards ran against the Huskies defense.

The offense wasn’t the only side of the Tigers ball that was putting in work. Ethan Asche earned himself 7.5 tackles by end of the night. HE started out strong by stopping the huskies for big lost of downs as he rushed from the edge, and be a worry for the Huskies offensive line.

This victory adds to the historical matchups between these teams, with ADM now holding a 10-5 advantage. The ADM Tigers continue to make their mark on the football field with the hard fought win. Already focused on their next opponent as Coach Randy Schrader said, ” we give everyone 24 hours to enjoy the win than you have to move.”
