A single vehicle crash Friday night in Greene County results in one person with serious injuries.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio the sheriff’s office, along with Greene County Ambulance, and Grand Junction Fire and Rescue responded to the scene at 6:46pm on Highway 30 and 19th Street in Grand Junction. Williams says 25-year-old Joseph Itani of Adel was traveling west on the highway when he lost control of his motorcycle, which flipped twice. He points out Itani was first taken to Greene County Medical Center and later by air ambulance to a Des Moines hospital with serious injuries.

Williams adds charges are pending completion of the investigation. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
