West Central Valley Cross Country will open their season tonight in the Wildcat Classic. The Wildcats were one of the teams that had their meet postponed last week at Gowrie Municipal Golf Course. Both the boys and girls teams will go into this meet tonight looking to start their season off on the right foot. Interstate 35, Nodaway Valley, Des Moines Hoover, Greene County, Ankeny Christian, Paton-Churdan, and Southwest Valley are among the teams that West Central Valley will be competing with. The boys did not place in this meet a year ago. While the girls placed in 3rd place a season ago behind Interstate 35 and Kuemper Catholic. They will be looking to build further on that tonight.

The gun is set to go off at 4:30 for the girls followed by the boys after that at West Central Valley Middle School. I will provide results after the meet right here on K 107.9 and on our website at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
