A two vehicle crash results in one injury in Greene County Wednesday morning.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio he and a deputy, along with the Jefferson Fire Department, Iowa State Patrol and Greene County Ambulance responded to the incident at 8:04am on US Highway 30 near K Avenue. Williams says a truck rear ended a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in a construction zone on the highway. He says one person was hurt in the crash and was taken to Greene County Medical Center. Williams adds traffic was stopped on the highway for a short time, but the one lane of traffic is open.

The investigation is ongoing with the Iowa State Patrol. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
