The Chargers are getting a start on varsity sports for the week. The 1-0 volleyball team is at the 5-3 Pleasantville Trojans looking for a conference win tonight, with the game starting at 6:15pm. Also tonight, the cross country teams will be in Dallas Center to compete. There’s only practice Wednesday and Thursday, but the football team hits the road Friday to take on the Earlham Cardinals. The cross country teams then return to action Saturday as they make the drive to Pella. Other teams competing in Pella will include the Baxter Bolts, Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays, Collins-Maxwell Spartans, Columbus Wildcats, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets, Lynnville-Sully Hawks, Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks, North Polk Comets, Norwalk Warriors, Oskaloosa Indians, Pella Dutch and Pella Christian Eagles.
