Tonight there will be a performance that’s a little different from the usual ones at the Warren Cultural Center.
WCC Board Member Thaddeus Hawley says that while a lot of people like the usual performances that the WCC holds, they are mainly for an older demographic. He mentions that he’s had many friends and people from younger generations ask about acts and musicians that fall in line with their tastes. Hawley explains that tonight’s performance is “The Underground” that features metal bands including “More Cheese,” “Mutually Assured Destruction,” “Mourning Veil,” and local Greenfield band “Gravis Somnia” in the basement of the WCC from 7-11pm.
There is a $5 admission fee, and beer available for purchase as long as the individual can prove they’re over the legal drinking age with an ID.
