Quin Mahler-Moreno qualifies for state in very first meet and breaks her old school record.

The highly anticipated season started with a bang Thursday night inside the McCreary Center pool as Perry defeated Algona 105-59 in the opening night dual.  Perry finished with nine first place swimmers.  Junior Quin Mahler-Moreno led the way with an impressive showing in the 100 breaststroke.  The all state junior qualified for the state meet and broke her old school record by over a second timing in at 1:06.96.  Complete results are posted below.
