With a new school year comes changes to the hours of operation at the Jefferson Municipal Pool.

Jefferson Parks and Recreation Director Denny Hammen says starting tomorrow and through Friday, the pool will only be open for adult lap swim from 11:30am-1pm. Then for this Saturday and Sunday, the pool will not only be open for adult lap swim from 11:30am-1pm, but for regular open swim from 1-6pm. 

Next week, from Monday, August 28th-Thursday, August 31st, the pool is only open for adult lap swim. Hammen notes that the pool will then be closed on Friday, September 1st. The following Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, the pool is going to have regular open swim, from 1-6pm on Saturday and 1-5pm on Sunday, along with adult lap swim. 

Finally, Hammen says the Doggie Paddle fundraiser will be from 5-6pm on Sunday, September 3rd, where funds will be given to the Greene County Animal Shelter.
