A Jefferson man has passed away from injuries when his motorcycle collided with a deer last week. 

The Iowa State Patrol confirms that 27-year-old Trevor Baugh died after he was injured hitting a deer last Wednesday evening at 9:43pm on 250th Street, west of C Avenue. Baugh was traveling east on 250th Street when his 1982 Honda NightHawk Motorcycle crashed into a deer, which threw him off of the vehicle. Baugh was taken to St. Anthony’s Regional Hospital in Carroll by Carroll County EMS and later was taken by air ambulance to Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
