With the season getting set to begin in exactly one week from today for the West Central Valley Wildcats, I am going to continue my position breakdown for the Wildcat’s 2023 team on the gridiron. Today we will look at the running back position for West Central Valley. Trenton Naragon, Jarel Madison, Mason Fuller, Wyatt McKibbin, Roman Hammond, and Wyatt Mangano are among the names that will be in the backfield for the Wildcat’s this upcoming season. It is a younger RB room for West Central Valley as Trenton Naragon and Wyatt Mangano are the oldest guys both going into their junior seasons.
The Wildcats will have big shoes to fill as they will be looking to replace the production of senior star running back Kaedon Lindsay from a year ago. He had 128 carries for 560 yards on the year a season ago. Wyatt Mangano is the only one that played last season at the RB position for the Wildcats, that will be suiting up this year. He had 7 carries for 62 yards and averaged 8.9 yards per carry. He will look to build on that going into the 2023 season in the backfield for West Central Valley. The Wildcats will kick off their 2023 season in one week against the Panorama Panthers at West Central Valley High School.
