Many Guthrie County residents have been able to place in events at the Iowa State Fair.
Members of the different FFA chapters and 4-H groups, and individuals competing themselves have all had projects judged at the fair, and results have been posted. Panorama FFA member Reagan Gibson received champion tamworth gilt in FFA Breeding Swine, while fellow chapter members Kelsey Laabs received champion in the FFA Photography, and Cora Fluharty brought home reserve champion continental in FFA Poultry. Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center FFA member Bo Arrasmith received reserve champion status dorset ewe. In static events there were a total of 20 blue ribbons awarded to Guthrie County 4-H members.
