Next Wednesday will mark the first day of the 2023-2024 school year for the Perry Community School District.
Superintendent Clark Wicks says the school board approved the student and staff handbooks. Wicks explains that the handbooks are a vital resource to get students and staff prepared for the upcoming school year.
“The school year. Getting the handbooks is one of them. And I think everybody across the whole state needed to get all the handbooks done. But here’s what it does. It gives a framework, a guideline for expectations, responsibilities and a chance to be a successful student.”
Wicks says that they are in the process of putting all the handbooks on the Perry Community School District website.
