The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday.

The Board did not take action on the City of Perry joint road project 28E agreement for a lack of a formal resolution to be presented to the Board of Supervisors.  In this agreement the county is responsible for providing equipment and labor to install culverts on the new alignment of 150th Street for the extension of the Perry Municipal Runway, and the City of Perry is agreeing to purchase the right of way for the project along with providing all the materials. County Engineer Al Miller said that they haven’t started work so this item is not time critical. The agreement will be on the agenda for the next meeting.

They then approved items that deal with the administration building including the bid package for masonry from Midwest Masonry for the amount of $1.5 million dollars, high density storage bid to Midwest Storage Solutions for the cost of $98,446 and the general trade bid was awarded to Turner Construction for $1.7 million dollars. Additionally, they approved the second amendment to the Guaranteed Maximum Price for the Administration Building at $25,556,686.

Finally, they set a time and date for a public hearing on the MidAmerican Energy electrical line easement for August 29th at 10:30am.
