Funeral services for Rodney “Rod” McDowell, age 63 of Des Moines, will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care in Perry. Burial will be in the Rippey Cemetery at Rippey, IA. Memorials will be given to Rod’s family for later designation and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
