Registration for Panorama’s youth developmental football program will open on Tuesday, August 22nd. An opportunity for young athletes to be active and have fun.
Kindergarten and below will play sharks and minnows football, 1st and 2nd grade will play flag, 3rd and 4th grade padded flag football, and 5th and 6th grade will play tackle pass league. Every practice and game will take place every Sunday starting on September 10th. Practices will be 30 minutes before the game, and will be followed by 45 minutes of game time.
Panorama’s athletic director, Mike Kauzlarich, has this to say about the up and coming youth developmental football program, “we’re gonna force our kids to develop at stages of the game that are usually underdeveloped…try to create some longevity with a lot of our kids in our youth program. Usually a kid gets pigeon-holed into playing offensive line at a very young age and no ever knows what that kid will look like when he gets to high school or college. We don’t want to run a kid off from a position or from the game of football before they even get that kind of exposure or develop their own body.”
All practices and games will take place at Panorama High School football field from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
