With the release of a current movie, the Greene County Historical Museum is bringing back one of its popular displays.
On Saturday from 9am-noon, the museum is showing off its more than 300 Barbie dolls during the “Think Pink! Barbies on Parade” event. The collection was donated in 2003 from former Jefferson resident Arlene Garland Klatt, which includes dolls from when Barbie debuted in 1959, along with dolls in formal gowns, cheerleading uniforms and swimsuits. Another featured item is a lifesize pink Barbie Box that people can pose and get their pictures taken in. This event is in conjunction with the newly released “Barbie” movie from Warner Brothers.
The free event also includes cinnamon rolls and drawings for gift cards.
