The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday.
The Board approved the Administrative Building Project groundbreaking ceremony for 9am on August 29th at the construction site on the Adel Square. They also other approved items that dealt with the project including awarding a bid to Commonwealth Electric for the security and data telecom package for the amount of $583,467, the package for audio visual equipment went to Tri City Electric and design plans to implement Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning in the Dallas County Law Enforcement Center’s exercise room which is used by inmates.
After a public hearing, they approved the resolution vacating a portion of 150th Street for the City of Perry’s Airport Runway Extension Project. The Board approved the implementation of the Xenia Raccoon River Trail waterline easement along Main Street in Linden and the Aylers and Cooney Waiver of Conflict Letter. The letter states that they represent both the county and City of Adel, and the City has asked Aylers and Coonery for help with a transfer of property to the county.
