Senior catcher Addison Banse of the ADM Tigers softball team has been playing softball since she was six years old and she quickly developed into the catcher. She has played on the ADM Tigers youth team, Iowa Renegades, Iowa Bandits and ADM high school team. She decided to not pursue softball in college and focus strictly on academics. Addison will be attending Mizzou and is enrolled as a Biomedical Sciences major. Addison finished her senior year of softball at ADM with several honors including being selected to the 4A All-District Team, she was also invited to the Senior All Star Game, and being named a First Team All Conference player. Addison had this to say: She was forever grateful for the sport of softball that has given her countless memories, lessons, and friends. she wouldn’t be who she is today without softball, but she is excited to see what the next chapter holds.”
Senior Brylee Person of the ADM Tiger softball team, her softball journey began in kindergarten where she quickly acquired a love for the sport. Through the years Brylee has played for a number of teams including the WDM Tigers, Iowa Renegades, Iowa Premier and the ADM Tigers. Along the way she has played every position on the field at one time, giving her a greater appreciation and understanding of every player’s role and the concept of “team”. Brylee feels fortunate to have built many friendships, played for some amazing coaches and had the opportunity to travel to some wonderful places. Wrapping up her last season as an ADM Tiger with great friends and a trip to the state tournament was a wonderful ending to it all. Brylee had this to say “One of my hardest goodbyes – through countless ups and downs the time has come for me to hang up my cleats. I never thought it would end this soon but God has other plans for me.” In the fall Brylee will attend Iowa State University majoring in Biology, ss her high school softball career came to an end he last month.
