Iowa’s Master Gardener Training program is open for applications for those that enjoy gardening and working with plants.

The training program will provide a well-rounded teaching of horticulture by using both online lectures and videos, and in person classes along with a textbook. Applications for the fall classes are open now, and the deadline to submit applications is August 18th. Classes will begin on September 5th and last for 10 weeks. Those that complete the class will receive certification and join the Iowa Master Gardeners.
