We continue to follow season statistics for AC/GC Chargers baseball and softball players. For the baseball team, senior Brock Littler started and played in 24 of the team’s games, collecting 66 at bats, 11 runs, 17 hits, 10 singles, 2 doubles, 4 triples and the lone home run on the season, along with 14 RBI’s. He was walked 14 times, hit by pitch 7 times, reached on error once, and was struck out 12 times for 30 total bases, a batting average of .258, on base percentage of .437 and slugging percentage of .455.
Littler attempted to steal bases 8 times, and was successful 6, and recorded 29 assists, 25 putouts and 15 errors for 69 total chances and a fielding percentage of .783. He started as the pitcher in all 6 games he went to the mound, throwing 584 pitches in 36.1 innings to 137 batters for an opposing batting average of .168. He allowed 23 hits, 23 runs of which 11 were earned, walked 19, hit 4 by pitch, and allowed 1 sacrifice while striking out 47 for an ERA of 2.12 and 1.16 walks and hits per inning pitched.
For the softball team, Carley Fagan started in 16 of the team’s 26 games for 67 at bats, 4 runs, 19 hits, 12 singles, 6 doubles, 1 triple and 7 RBI’s. She was walked 3 times, hit by pitch once, reached on error 4 times and was struck out 13 times for 27 total bases, and a batting average of .284, on base percentage of .324 and slugging percentage of .403. Fagan was successful on her sole stolen base attempt, and recorded 5 assists, 124 putouts and 5 errors for 134 total chances and a fielding percentage of .963.
