Tomorrow is the second day of Panorama Days, and it looks to be packed with festivities.
With so much to do, it’s hard to know where to start, but Panora Chamber of Commerce Coordinator April Imming tells Raccoon Valley Radio about some of the bigger events to try and see.
“Saturday morning we have the 5k run. We have the parade at 10am. Saturday afternoon is a ski show out at the lake, and then Saturday night we actually have a new event this year, we have a golf cart/ATV parade, and then finishes with fireworks at the lake.”
Some of the other fun morning events tomorrow include a bass fishing tournament from 5am to 1:30pm, music from 10am-3pm, and the free unlimited access kid zone from 11am-4pm. The kid zone includes many fun inflatables, face painting, a balloon artist and a caricature artist. In the afternoon, there will be a bags tournament from 1-4pm, bingo from 1-3pm and a 3v3 basketball tournament starting at 3pm. Then in the evening before the fireworks, there will be an alumni banquet at 6pm and live entertainment at The Port’s tiki bar.
Then to finish the fun weekend off on Sunday, the Panorama junior class will be serving breakfast at the community center from 8am to noon, from 9-11am there will be a kids fishing derby, and starting at 1pm, the annual Panorama Alumni Golf Tournament will begin. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be broadcasting live tomorrow from 9am to 6pm.
