We continue to follow season statistics for AC/GC Chargers baseball and softball players. For the baseball team, senior Keitn Kinney played and started in 24 of the team’s games, recording 63 at bats, 10 runs, 7 single base hits, and 4 RBI’s. He was walked 8 times, hit by pitch 3 times, reached on error 3 times and was struck out 27 times for 7 total bases, a batting average of .111, on base percentage of .243 and slugging percentage of .111.
Kinney was successful on his 4 stolen base attempts, and tallied 7 assists, 99 putouts and 13 errors for 119 total chances, and a fielding percentage of .891. He pitched in 4 games for 4.1 innings, throwing 92 times to 19 batters for an opposing batting average of .211. He allowed 4 hits, 4 runs of which 2 were earned, walked 4, hit 1 by pitch, and struck out 4 for an ERA of 3.23 and 1.85 walks and hits per inning pitched.
For the softball team, freshman Camdyn Richter played in 3 games, making it to the plate 3 times for 1 run, and was walked once and struck out once for an on base percentage of .250. She tallied 4 assists for 4 total chances and a 1.000 fielding percentage, and pitched for 10 innings over the 3 games. She pitched 217 times to 51 batters for an opposing batting average of .314, allowed 16 hits, 20 runs of which 10 were earned, and walked 12 batters while striking out 3 for an ERA of 7 and 2.8 walks and hits per inning pitched.
