The next Summer Concert Series is happening later this week in Jefferson.
The Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County welcomes the band “Potluck” and special musical guest Ducharme-Jones on Saturday. Potluck features Chris Dorr, Parker Willis, Wes Anderson and Bryan Johnson, with a mixture of songs from the 1950s to the 2010s. They are going to perform from 4:30-6pm at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens. Ducharme-Jones features talent from the Des Moines metro area, including a Greene County High School graduate, Tanner Taylor, who occasionally plays with the four-piece band and is expected to be with them Saturday from 6:30-9pm. Other performers include Dave Ducharme-Jones, who is the lead guitarist and vocalist; the band’s co-writer and co-producer Anne Ducharme-Jones on rhythm guitar, bass guitarist Scot Sutherland and drummer Jim Stevens.
Additionally, there will be a food truck on hand for people to purchase items as they wish. The concerts are free and attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating as seating is limited inside the Thomas Jefferson Gardens.
