Stuart residents will have an opportunity to have some fun tomorrow night.

Stuart Police Sergeant Katie Guisinger says that the department is once again hosting their annual National Night Out event. The event is a national campaign to help strengthen community ties with their police departments, and build relations between the officers and those they serve. Guisinger tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the department will have some of their cruisers available for residents to check over, and that the Stuart Fire Department and Stuart Rescue team will also bring vehicles to show the community.

Festivities will include a grill out from 5-6pm, a raffle starting at 7pm, a face painter, cotton candy, bounce houses, and possibly the fire department’s dunk tank. The event is free and open to the public.
