The Perry Chamber of Commerce has begun looking for people to have a fun day of hitting fairways and lining up putts.

The “2nd Annual Chamber Open Golf Outing,” will be held at the Perry Golf and Country Club on Friday. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says that this will be a golf fundraiser where a team of four will compete in a best ball tournament, and they will have a choice of a 9am or 1pm tee time. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio this tournament is open to the public, and people do not have to be associated with the chamber or country club to participate.

“We’ve got some fun contests and games planned thanks to our sponsors. So it’s just a really casual, fun event. So even if you’re not a golfer, that’s what makes the best ball tournament so fun because you don’t have to be. You can rely on your team and enjoy the day and network with other businesses, other members of the community. So we had a lot of fun last year. It was a good fundraiser.”

A team of four golfers will cost $150 and single golfers will pay $40. The last day to register for the golf tournament will be tomorrow. For more information use the link here.
