The AC/GC Chargers are in between sports at the moment, but the fall season is fast approaching. Chargers volleyball will begin August 22nd, as the team hosts the Van Meter Bulldogs, then travels to Pleasantville to take on the Trojans on the 29th. To start off September, AC/GC travels to Stuart to face off against the West Central Valley Wildcats on Tuesday the 5th, then on Saturday the team heads to Griswold for the Tiger Volleyball Invitational. Other teams at the tournament will include the hosting Tigers, AHSTW Vikings, Denison Schleswig Monarchs, Riverside Bulldogs, Creston Panthers, Exira-EHK Spartans and Southwest Valley Timberwolves.

On September 12th, the team will host the Panorama Panthers, and on the 16th they’ll host the AC/GC Volleyball Invite, with the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats, Nodaway Valley Wolverines, Exira-EHK Spartans, Perry Bluejays, West Central Valley Wildcats, Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks and Madrid Tigers all making their way to Guthrie Center. The next week on September 19th the team travels to East Sac County to take on the Raiders, then heads to Boone for the Boone Volleyball invitational on Saturday the 23rd. Other teams attending will be the Knoxville Panthers, Forest City Indians, Grand View Christian Thunder, Fort Dodge Dodgers, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowboys, Ames Cyclones and the hosting Boone Toreadors.

Moving into October, the Chargers will host the Woodward-Granger Hawks, then head south on the 7th for the CAM Classic Volleyball Tourney. Teams attending will be the Ar-We-Va Rockets, Paton-Churdan Rockets, Fremont Mills Knights, Griswold Tigers, Orient-Macksburg Bulldogs and Riverside Bulldogs.
