Two Guthrie County towns are hosting a fun retail event starting today.

Guthrie Center and Panora will both be holding sidewalk sales today and tomorrow. Businesses will set up on the sidewalks and sell their merchandise, and allowing customers to walk while viewing the different items they can buy. In Panora, for those that don’t have a brick and mortar shop to set up in front of, there is room on the square to put up a table, as long as it doesn’t interfere with walking traffic. In Guthrie Center, there will be a shuttle bus to take people to and from the Guthrie County Fairgrounds as River Ruckus goes on. Panora: Bella Sorella, Crafty’s Coffee, Exit Realty, Local Liquor, Panora Mercantile, Panora Garden, Sapphire Skin Company, Tribe Boutique and Early Morning Harvest.

Guthrie Center: Art on State, Cabbage Rose, Cafe on the Hill, Dowd Drug, Dub P Apparel, Friends of the Library, Gap Creek Quilting Mercantile, Guthrie County Quality Meats, Nine Livez, Pearls and Lace Country Boutique, Pink Poppy Apothecary and Co, Strawberry Patch and Teos Bar and Grill.
