The Perry Bluejays had a long lull over the recent years in terms of finding success on the baseball diamond in terms of wins. That all changed this past season where they put up 10 wins in the Heart of Iowa conference. A big piece of their turnaround this year was due to head coach Michael Craig. Craig described that staying consistent is the key to continued success going into 2024.

“Well I think what’s next is to stay consistent in our workouts and in our routines. Now that were going to have a lot of upperclassman leaders next year, take what we learned from this year and have them really teach the underclassmen that are going to be stepping up into those roles and help pursue that winning spirit that we did learn how to capture this year,” said Craig.

The Bluejays will look to take that winning spirit from this year, into next season in 2024.
