The public is invited to another opportunity to learn about a local organization in Jefferson.

The next Java and Juice takes place at the Sierra Community Theater on Friday at 9:30am. Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich encourages everyone to stop by the local non-profit organization that runs the historic one screen theater.

“Just a great example of that small town charm. It may not be the big ‘ta-da’ that you see on tv or in big box stores and things, but it’s that local wrinkle of things that gives it that extra charm. We certainly lean into that and when folks visit here and spend just a little bit of time they pick up on that. We try to make it as obvious as possible to everyone.”

The 30-minute program allows attendees to find out about community happenings, enjoy free refreshments and learn about the host business. Contact the Welcome Center in Jefferson at 515-386-2155 to schedule a Java and Juice.
