Monday, July 24th

8:20am: Dalton Weber 24 of Scranton was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault 1st offense.

4:44pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near D Avenue.

6:59pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest in the 500 block of North Elm Street. Brent Cooper 40 of Fort Dodge was arrested for a violation of conditions of a restricted license, driving while revoked or denied, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:45pm: A deputy investigated a dog bite that occurred in Rippey.

9:20pm: Brent Cooper 40 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail for a violation of conditions of a restricted license, driving while revoked or denied, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:31pm: A deputy located a stolen truck stuck in the river on Jordan Avenue near 237th Street.

Tuesday, July 25th

2:00am: A deputy investigated a report of a missing bicyclist near 237th Street and Jordan Avenue. The bicyclist was located on the river up from the river access.

5:52am: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 900 block of Cedar Street, Scranton.

9:36am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near U Avenue.

10:52am: The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Greene County Ambulance, and Grand Junction Rescue responded to numerous medical calls on the Ragbrai route throughout the day.

2:11pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

3:30pm: A deputy investigated a theft of a bike in Rippey on 4th Street.

11:46pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle on 220th Street near D Avenue.

Wednesday, July 26th

1:25am: Richard Young 62 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence 1st offense.

1:55am: Candice Ortiz 35 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a probation violation.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
