Clayton Campidilli will represent Dallas Center-Grimes baseball in the 2023 IHSBCA All-Star Series.

Campidilli was selected the to Large Schools West team to play in Carroll on July 27-29. As a senior he made a big impact on the Mustangs winning the Little Hawkeye Conference along with qualifying for the state tournament. This year Campidilli had a 98-percent fielding percentage at first base and hit a season average on .431 which was a team best and third best in the conference. He hit eight home runs which was the most in the Little Hawkeye and 38 runs batted in. DCG Head Coach Curt Castensen talked more about his first basemen.

“With not only just his performance this year, but his performance last, I think, 3 to 4 years. It was kind of one of those the coaches just kind of knew he earned that and just pick you know, you don’t see a guy like him with the power like that every day in a conference.”
