Adel Parks and Recreation will bring back their “Movie Night in the Park,” but at a different place. 

The department will show the movie “Sonic the Hedgehog,” beginning at dusk at the Island Park Campground in Adel on Friday. The television screen will be set up near the playground in the park.  

Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and blanket along with snacks and beverages. They will be handing out free popcorn for everyone that shows up. The event is free and open to the public.
