This is Family Week for those involved in Iowa High School Sports, meaning no use of school facilities, and no contact with coaches on or off school grounds. It’s intended for families to spend time together before camps and practices for the 2023-24 school year begins.

Greene County football has football camp for those entering grades 9-12 on July 31, Aug. 1-2-3. Head coach Caden Duncan told Raccoon Valley Radio the high schoolers will have camp late afternoon until around 8 p.m. or so on July 31, Aug. 1 and 2, then during the day on Aug. 3. Camp for those going into seventh and eighth grade will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, and the coach said registration for middle school athletes can be found on the Greene County football Facebook page. Coach Duncan added players get Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off, before official high school practice starts on Monday, Aug. 7.
