The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.
The Council will consider for approval the second reading to amend an ordinance for a zoning change for a Planned Unit Development at the Water Tower Subdivision site, a resolution for a plat or survey for Scott Weber, amending an ordinance to increase yard waste fees from $1 to $3 per month and yard waste stickers from $1 to $2, a resolution for a certificate of completion and final acceptance of the Russell Street Water Main Improvement Project, as well as the final payment for the project.
Additionally, the Council will consider for approval an engineering services agreement with Bolten and Menk for an East Lincoln Way project, accepting a donation of an art sculpture for the Greene County Animal Shelter and establishing fees for the shelter. They will also consider approving the City’s participation in a Trees Forever Carbon Credit Program, a resolution for transferring funds and closing out fund accounts, as well as setting a public hearing for an easement for Hardin Hilltop Wind to build a new substation. Finally, the Council will consider approving a proposal for a strategic planning and goal setting session, and a letter of intent for a housing project with Greene County Development Corporation.
