We continue to follow season statistics for AC/GC Chargers baseball and softball players. For the baseball team, freshman Tommy Skram started in 12 of the 19 games he played in, racking up 24 at bats for 11 runs, 7 hits, 6 singles, a double, 3 RBI’s and 1 sacrifice bunt. He was walked 7 times, hit by pitch once and struck out 8 times for 8 total bases and a batting average of .292, an on base percentage of .469 and a slugging percentage of .333.

Skram was successful on his 1 stolen base attempt, had 2 assists, 14 putouts and 1 error for 17 total chances and a fielding percentage of .941. In the pitching stats, Skram started in 1 of the 8 games he pitched in, throwing 270 pitches in 12 innings to 58 batters for an opposing batting average of .310. He allowed 18 hits, 23 runs of which 13 were earned, walked 14 batters, hit 5 by pitch, allowed 1 sacrifice, and struck out 8 for an ERA of 7.58 and 2.67 walks and hits per inning pitched.

For the softball team, junior Presley Buttler played in all 26 of the teams games, recording 69 at bats for 1 run, 17 hits, 15 singles, 2 doubles, 6 RBI’s and 1 sacrifice fly. She was walked 7 times, reached on error 3 times, and struck out 8 times for 19 total bases, and a batting average of .246, on base percentage of .312 and slugging percentage of .275. Buttler had 6 assists, 101 putouts and 8 errors for 115 total chances and a fielding percentage of .930 while throwing out 3 runners stealing bases, and allowing 68 stolen bases.
