Greene County and the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference have increased admission prices for the the 2023-24 school sports year. All high school events (except football) will be $6.00 for school aged and above. Middle school events admission is $5.00 for adults and no charge for students, and high school football will be $7.00 for school aged and above.

Rising costs of athletic officials, event support, supplies, equipment, uniforms, and more were listed as a driving force for raising admission prices, according to the Activities Department news release. Also, the release stated even with the new rates, admission prices are still lower than or equal to peer conferences around the state.
