The West Central Valley Wildcats softball team had a spectacular season this past year as they finished 12-8 in the West Central standings and 20-12 overall. There were several players on this years squad that had great seasons statistically that helped the Wildcats have such a successful season. Starting with Tasha Williams. She was one of 5 seniors on this years West Central Valley team. She finished the season batting .381 along with a .451 on base percentage. She also put up 23 singles along with 6 RBI’s for the Wildcats. She was definitely a big part of West Central Valley’s success this year offensively. Kinsey Alt was also another senior that has graduated from this 2023 team. She finished the season with a .362 batting average. She also led the whole Wildcats team with a outstanding .508 on base percentage. She also had 26 singles along with 21 RBIs. She managed to get on base via walk 19 times on the year as well. If there was one person the Wildcat’s could count on to get them a base runner, it was definitely Kinsey Alt as her numbers show for it on the season. Tommorow I will recap two more players that have had impacts on this year’s West Central Valley softball squad. Make sure to tune in on K107.9 FM and find the story on raccoonvalleyradio.com.
