While the season for the Dallas Center-Grimes’ softball concluded their senior center fielder got to showcase her skills in an all-star game on Saturday. 

Olivia Huston earned the right after a fantastic senior season to play in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Senior All-Star Game. Huston was selected to play outfield on the Blue Team. Huston went 1-for-3 with a two RBI triple along with reaching on an error and scoring two times in the game. She talked to Raccoon Valley Radio about the opportunity of playing in the all-star game. 

“It’s really cool. I was really excited when I heard the news. It felt really good after the way we ended our season.”

The Blue team defeated the White team by a score of 13 to 7.
