A reminder of a special program that is happening tomorrow in Jefferson will examine information about the Civil War.

The Greene County Historical Society is hosting a program “Researching Your Civil War Ancestors” with presenter David Connon at the historical museum at 2pm. Connon is the author of “Iowa Confederates in the Civil War” and he will talk about ways to search for information on Civil War soldiers. Greene County Genealogical Society member Ada Ross will also discuss with attendees the resources they have to assist anyone with their family history. 

Sunday’s program is free and open to the public.
