Greene County’s high school football program will be represented today inside the air-conditioned UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls by South squad tight end Jesse Miller. The recent high school graduate is a U. of South Dakota football recruit and he’s already completed one college class on campus in Vermillion, which is why he wasn’t able to report to Shrine Bowl Camp until Thursday night. School comes first, which may be a reason why the 6′ 6″, 225 lbs. multi-sport athlete earned Valedictorian honors at Greene County High.
Miller told Raccoon Valley Radio he appreciates the understanding his Shrine Bowl coaches showed in allowing him to arrive several days later than his teammates due to his academic responsibilities.
