The Raccoon Valley Radio area could use some rainfall with drought conditions worsening. 

According to the US Drought Monitor,  the majority of the western half of Guthrie County continues to be in a moderate drought and the rest of the county is abnormally dry. 

Greene County is under a moderate drought, except for the tip of the northwest portion of the county. A large portion of Dallas County is abnormally dry, with the southeastern corner in a moderate drought. 

According to the National Weather Service in the month of July, Jefferson has seen 4.17 inches, Perry has 3.34 inches and Guthrie Center reported 2.54 inches of rainfall.
