The citizens of Perry packed downtown for a night of fun and entertainment on Friday night.
The Perry Chamber of Commerce hosted their “2nd Street Block Party.” The event featured a band called “Toast3r,” that played a lot of party music from the 1980s along with new songs. Chamber Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti told Raccoon Valley Radio how she wants to make this a recurrent event.
“So a big thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this happen, thank you to all the sponsors that made it happen and thank you to everyone that came out and participated and enjoyed it. We hope you had fun. We’re going to make this an annual event.”
The 2nd Street Downtown Street Party only allowed those who were 21 years of age or older.
