Recently the Office of the Chief Information Officer made an announcement regarding broadband.

The OCIO announced that $148,960,000 in new program funds were issued under the Empower Rural Iowa Broadband Grant. The application window opened on July 14, and will remain open to applications until 5pm on August 25th. Any application that does not make it in before the deadline will not be accepted.
