Wednesday, July 19th

11:39am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near Y Avenue. Bethany Henze 39 of Ames struck a deer with a 2017 Ford Van causing an estimated 7,000 dollars in damage.

3:38pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

5:46pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person on 220th Street near R Avenue. Anthony Kennedy 41 of Jefferson was arrested for an arrest warrant out of Dallas County for theft 5th degree.

6:15pm: James Pena 25 was booked into the jail for domestic abuse assault.

6:59pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest in the 500 block of South Olive Street. Tyler Armstrong 38 of Jefferson was arrested for failure to appear arrest warrants.

7:50pm: Tyler Armstrong 38 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for failure to appear.

Thursday, July 20th

5:10am: The Sheriff removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street and Pioneer Avenue.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
