Dayne Mauk

Dallas Center-Grimes had one player represented on a prestigious list.

Junior Dayne Mauk was selected as a utility  player on the Iowa High School Coaches Associations All District Class 4a First Team.  Mauk hit for an average of .321 with 31 RBI’s, 26 hits and eight doubles. He also pitched 56 innings with a 1.62 ERA and a record of 7-1. Additionally, Mauk played a lot at third base this season.

Dallas Center-Grimes baseball also had Tate Perrin represented on the second team as a pitcher and Ty Mikkelsen as a utility player. Perrin did not give up an earned run this season. Mikkelsen hit .328 this season with a 2.21 ERA on the mound.
