The Panorama School Board met in session Monday night.
The Board heard a superintendent reflection from new Superintendent Kasey Huebner. He told them he was enjoying meeting with the different administrative personnel, that he appreciated the help he was receiving from them, and that he was looking forward to getting the year started. Huebner also updated the Board on progress of the parking lot project.
The Board approved the consent agenda, including contracts for substitute bus drivers Steven Hameister, Ken Bahrke, Dan Wagner, Mark Dorhout and Jerry Lane, along with the resignation of middle school/high school paraeducator Vicki Woody, and approved the lone action item of the spring B contracts for extracurricular activities.
After the meeting, Huebner took a moment and told Raccoon Valley Radio his thoughts on his first School Board Meeting as Panorama Superintendent.
“You know, it was a pretty light meeting, so obviously it was easy working with the Board. I know the Board is motivated to continue the good things at Panorama, and as I start this position, my goals are to just continue the great things that are already happening here in Panora at Panorama.”
The next regular meeting for the Panorama School Board is scheduled for August 14th at 6:30pm.
