The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.
The Board will hear department head updates from Health Services Director Jotham Arber and Facilities Manager Brandon Thompson. In Arber’s update, they will discuss 28E agreements with Adair, Audubon and Cass Counties.
The Board will then consider for approval resolutions pertaining to county salaries and wages effective July 1st, 2023, authorizing the County Auditor to issue paychecks without prior approval per Iowa Code and authorizing the periodic transfer of funds form the Guthrie County General Supplemental Fund to the Adair/Guthrie County Emergency Management Commission Fund, and approving the periodic transfer of funds from the Guthrie County Rural Services Fund to the Guthrie County Secondary Roads Fund.
To finish the meeting, the Board will consider for approval any fireworks permits and any updates a member has for the rest of the Board. The meeting will begin at 9am in the Guthrie County Supervisors Board room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available here.
