The ADM Tiger softball suffered a tough 8-3 loss to the Fort Dodge Dodgers in the Quarterfinal round of the Iowa Class 4A State Softball Tournament in Fort Dodge yesterday. The ADM Tigers did have ten total hits in the game. Freshman Ellis Smith went 3-4 with a single, double and triple. Sophomore Madi James went 2-3 with two sharp singles. Junior MaKayla Crannell went 1-4 with a solo shot, for her third home run of the season. Freshman starting pitcher Lauren Hagedorn took the loss for the ADM Tigers, to put her pitching record to 10-10 on the season.
This loss for the ADM Tigers will put them at a overall record of 24-13 on the season. The next ADM Tigers softball broadcast on K1079 – KKRF and www.raccoonvalley.com will be this afternoon when the ADM Tigers will take on Carlisle Wildcats in the consolation game with 1:00 pm first pitch.
