Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is preparing for their Wild Places in Guthrie County to start winding down.

The event is in its third year, and seeks to promote tourism and public outdoor places around the county. Those that are participating can visit any of the three locations this year in any order they want, and can even enter for a chance to win a mystery prize. Two mystery prizes will be awarded to individuals who visit all three locations, post a picture of them at each one to Facebook while using the hashtag #GuthrieCountyWildThings and tagging the Extension in the post.

Once individuals have posted from all three locations, they also get three extra entries for the drawing. The deadline to get entered for a chance at one of the prizes is Thursday, so hurry and get those pictures posted. To find the locations, use the flier at the Extensions website or Facebook page.
